 da vinci's proportions

 

for this project we took da vinci's ideal proportions and we took data of are real proportions and we compared

them with a circle graph and a bar graph.Jack M

 

 

 

 

 

this double bar graph is comparing my proportions to

1. Which areas did you match Da Vinci's ideal proportions?

 

- I only matched in one proportion and that was (arm span to height.)

 

2. If you measured yourself in 5 years, do you think that your proportions would change?

 

- If i measured my self in five years i do not think my proportions would change at all.

 

3. Why is a double bar graph an appropriate way to present this data?

 

- A double bar graph would be appropriate because you are comparing two categories that are using the the same data.

Categorical Data:

I surveyed 10 people from the six grade medieval class.

In this chart i took one student at a time from are class and asked  what were their top 10 most favorite candies. If i did not have the category I added it to my data. I used a bar graph to display my data because Bar graphs are used to compare things between different groups. when the bar is bigger it means the candy was most liked by my classmates.Like kit-kat for example the bar is to the 8 on the graph so that means it got 8 votes.

 In this chart i took one student at a time from are class and asked how many hours did they sleep at night. IN this chart i used a bar graph witch is the same as the last chat because they are both appropriate for the set of data. The average number of hours a student sleeps at night is seven. that data was only out f the student i surveyed.
