Welcome back to school!  This week we will be getting to know each other through our Number Stories, and inspirational quotes.  We want to start building a great foundation of mutual respect and trust right from the start. :)  We are going to practice working together and following directions through an origami exercise.  I also want to know where we are all starting from, so we are going to be taking a diagnostic assessment covering the mathematical foundations that should be in place before beginning Pre-Algebra. We will set up our Math Interactive Notebook.  We will also review concepts from last year that students may be a little rusty on.
